Join the Barrie Curling Club Board of Directors and take an active role in shaping the future of our Club.
The Board is seeking six new Directors through self-nomination or nomination by another. Candidates will need to supply a brief biography to be available and presented at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (April 27th at 7:00 p.m.). Elections take place at the April 27th AGM.
The BCC Board of Directors is a working Board that consists of 12 Directors. Each Director has an active portfolio and serves a three-year term to a maximum of six consecutive years. The Board Executive Committee consists of the President, 1st Vice and 2nd Vice Presidents and the Secretary-Treasurer. Director portfolios are assigned based Director expertise and interest. The Board meets monthly; Directors also attend the two Annual General Meetings (October and April). The Board provides governance and decision making while the Club Manager is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the Club.
