The 2024 Everest Funeral Concierge Canadian Curling Club Championships will be competed at the Barrie Curling Club November 18-24, 2024.

The event features women’s and men’s teams from each of Curling Canada’s Member Associations – 10 provinces, three territories and Northern Ontario – for a competitive week of grassroots curling.

The Everest Canadian Curling Club Championships are for recreational, club-level curlers without the time or resources to compete at the high-performance level; the event gives those curlers the exciting opportunity to represent their home province or territory and compete for a Canadian championship.

This will mark the third straight year as title sponsor for the Championship for Everest Funeral Concierge.

Ontario curling fans should have plenty to cheer for in Barrie. Ontarian men’s teams have won the competition a leading four times. Most recently, Team Greg Balsdon won the event last year in Edmonton. He joins a list of alumni champions from Ontario, including Team Robert Stafford at the inaugural event in 2009, Team Wes Forget in 2016 and Team Paul Moffatt in 2019.

The 2024 Everest Canadian Curling Club Championships will be a first for the community of Barrie, as it marks the first time the city has hosted a Canadian curling championship.

About the Barrie Curling Club

Our club consists of a group of people who love to curl - some more competitively and some more recreationally; and we have leagues and programs to match what our curlers want. Many of us consider fellow members to be great friends and have shared some of the best times of our lives at leagues, bonspiels and the lounge of the Barrie Curling Club.
