Grab your favourite curling partner and join us at the Barrie Curling Club for a day of mixed doubles!

Mixed doubles brings a different kind of challenge to the ice. With just two players per team, communication, strategy, and shot-making all take centre stage. Whether you're a regular doubles player or looking to try something different, it's a great opportunity to enjoy some friendly competition.

Teams will play two eight-end games, with lunch included and prizes up for grabs for our top finishers.

How Does Mixed Doubles Work?

Each team consists of one woman and one man. Unlike traditional four-person curling, mixed doubles uses just two players, with each team delivering five stones per end.

One player delivers stones 1 and 5, while the other delivers stones 2, 3, and 4.

It's a format that rewards teamwork, communication, and a little creativity!

Registration

Registration opens October 28, 2026, at 11:00 PM and closes December 2, 2026, at 11:00 PM.

Draw preferences are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
