BCC 150th Anniversary Slogan Contest

Help put 150 years of Barrie Curling Club into a slogan we’ll be proud to wear.

We’re inviting current and former BCC members, including youth, to help shape our anniversary celebration. Your idea could feature on anniversary merchandise, signage and promotional materials.

The Contest
Create an original slogan of five words or fewer that captures the spirit of BCC. Think curling, community, club pride and what connects generations of members. Heartfelt, clever or playful, make it memorable.

You don’t need to include “150” or “Barrie Curling Club.” Those can appear in the accompanying design. Multiple entries are welcome.

The Prize
The winning contributor will receive a 150th Anniversary Commemorative Pin and an anniversary merchandise prize pack.

How to Enter
The deadline has been extended to October 25, 2026.

• Online: Click Register below to submit your slogan by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on October 25.

• At the club: Use the slogan entry box starting October 6. Paper entries close when the club closes on October 25.

Selection
The 150th anniversary committee will review entries for club connection, merchandise appeal, memorability and originality. The committee retains final selection authority and may adapt or combine submissions, select an alternative slogan, or choose not to use an entry.

Your Words. Our Next Chapter.
