Ghouls just wanna have fun!
Friday Night Social is getting a Halloween takeover on October 30. Join us for an evening of curling, costumes, spooky tunes and witches’ brews and boos, with prizes up for grabs in our costume contest.
Whether you’re curling that night or simply stopping by for the party, members and friends of members are welcome. Admission is free, and costumes are encouraged but not required.
Game of Stones is taking over the Barrie Curling Club for one fast-paced night of curling, food and meeting new people.
Register as an individual by position, then draw a card when you arrive to discover your team. Newer curlers and experienced players are both welcome. No carefully assembled superteam required.
You’ll play eight one-end games, each on a 15-minute timer. Win and your team moves closer to Sheet 1. Lose and you slide toward Sheet 7. Winners keep the hammer and play the red rocks in the next game.
There are two ways to claim the night: finish as the winning team on Sheet 1 or be the team that climbs the most sheets.
Once the final rocks have been thrown, the night continues upstairs with wings, fries and drinks.

Our club consists of a group of people who love to curl - some more competitively and some more recreationally; and we have leagues and programs to match what our curlers want. Many of us consider fellow members to be great friends and have shared some of the best times of our lives at leagues, bonspiels and the lounge of the Barrie Curling Club.
